Dear SA Members,
This is a reminder that the SFC Supporters’ Association AGM takes place in The 76 Lounge on Thursday 26th October 2023 commencing at 7.30 pm (the doors and the bar will be open from 7.00pm).
The meeting will be in two parts – at 7.30 pm we will commence with a question & answer session with a couple of representatives from Stevenage FC. Our thanks to them for giving up their time to meet with SA members. The second half of the evening will be the formal AGM business, but the latter part will be in a different format to previously as we will have a discussion amongst all of those present about the future strategic direction of the SA.
Under our current constitution, elections are held for Executive or General Committee positions that have been held for two years. However, because there have been changes in the Committee recently, we think it is both appropriate and timely to review all the Committee’s posts together with the likely future occupants before we seek the approval of the membership. So, any member who wishes to be considered for a committee role should apply in writing to me at least 14 days prior to the meeting. Please note anyone doing so needs to be proposed and seconded by 2 other current SA members. This meeting is only open to SA members but if you haven’t renewed your 2023/24 membership, you can still do this on the night or online here. If you have renewed your membership, the Committee is most appreciative of your continued support for the SA.
