From the start of next season, administration of Mascots will become the responsibility of the Stevenage FC Foundation, who have been looking after our mascots on match days for the past 2/3 years.
In future, SA Junior Members will be entitled to receive the full mascot package for £25, a saving to SA Junior members of 75% on the non member price. Mascots will be able to borrow a kit, if they don’t have their own, and they will be provided with 3 Main Stand seats for themselves and two adults. They will also be given a match day programme and a packed lunch, before meeting the players, and taking part in pre match and half time activities on the pitch. We do see this as great value to SA Junior Members (under 12yrs).
On joining the SA for 2017/18, the details of Junior Members (under 12yrs) will be passed to the Foundation. If parents would prefer us not to have their child’s personal details, including their name, address and date of birth, sent to the Foundation, please let me know.
The Foundation will send Junior SA Members an information pack outlining their activities, and will include a Mascot Consent form. The Consent Form would need to be completed and returned to the Foundation who will allocate mascots to fixtures. They will also a request a recent photo for the match day programme. Please note that Foundation will limit the number of Mascots per game, and Junior Members can only access this deal once per season.
The SA will continue to hold a free draw during the season for two junior members to be our mascots for selected games.
