Participants and winners of the 2015 SFCSA Fishing Competition
The annual SFCSA fishing competition was staged at Clavering lakes on Sunday 13th September, which saw 20 men and 1 lady take part. On what was a lovely day in terms of weather. there were several winners of different categories.
After a hearty breakfast everyone proceeded to catch fish and no one “blanked”.
The winners (and losers) are as follows and pictures of both the men and ladies winner along with all other winners (and last place Dippers!)
Mens Champion – Peter Frost – 51lbs 10 oz
Ladies Champion – Karen Lorimer – 5lbs ( no other lady fished!!!)
Pairs winners- peter frost & Aiden Stiles – 82 lbs 2ozs
21 st ( Last) john “Dippers” gardner – 4 lbs 12 ozs
There were several section winners recieving gift voucher and also 2 lucky peg winner who received a fish and Chip supper supplied by W.Rowes
Overall the whole event was a total success and our thanks to Clive Bone for organising the event aided by Barry Thomas who was scaleman for the day.
