The Supporters Association administrator, Mervyn Stokes-Geddes, has issued the following update ahead of  The Boro’s pre-season match versus Norwich City…

Membership Up

We are pleased to report that SA membership currently stands at 440 compared with 311 at the end of July 2009. This figure includes 115 brand new members for this coming season. Almost 80% of you have provided us with email addresses, which will enable us to improve communications with members. Significant progress has been made in enhancing our Retailer Discount Scheme, which will enable members to save even more money this season. The current list of Retailers can be found here.

S.A. Information Point

The SA Information Point on the East Terrace will be open for the visit of Norwich City. Geoff Gibbs, the SA Secretary and our new Communications Officer Peter Keen will be on hand to answer any questions, deal with any membership renewals, and on production of your membership card, they will hand out our commemorative badges. There will also be a supply of old badges and programmes for sale. Please note there will be no Club Shop stock on sale at the SA Point for any of the pre-season games.  Registration for the Junior Boro Loyal Supporter’s award scheme does not start until the visit of Macclesfield.

S.A. Draws

50/50 Tickets will be on sale for the pre-season games, and the draw will take place as usual at half-time. The first SA ticket draw will also take place at the Norwich game, and the winners names will be posted on the site, and the tickets sent to the winners in time for the Macclesfield game.

Travel to Bradford

John Carroll will be on hand at the Broadhall Way end of the ground to take coach bookings for fans wanting to travel to Bradford.
