Bob and Mike are both die-hard supporters of the Club. Way back in June, Bob challenged subscribers to a popular on-line Boro chat forum, to become members of the Supporters Association. Mike, enthused by this initiative, committed to match Bob’s offer. The challenge was that for every new member to join the SA by a certain date, they would each match the subscription with a £1 donation to the SA.
It is an incredible gesture from two very generous supporters.
During the half-time interval versus Gateshead Lloyd Briscoe, chairman of Stevenage Borough Supporters Association, receiveed a cheque to the value of £360 from Bob (sadly, Mike was unavailable).
